La Pupusa Urban Eatery

We are a first generation Salvi /American restaurant. My grandma was one of the first in L.A to sell my cultures food in L.A out of a cart in the 80s. A legacy and landmark to the Salvadorian culture that migrated here during the war . We took how we learned raised in L.A by Salvadorian immigrant families and poured it into our food . We are a Salvi and L.A mix . We bring together what our L.A upbringing taught us about all different cultures and combined it with our ancestors and made L.A / La Pupusa .
