Crystal Coser became an expert in the local culinary landscape as the former Associate Editor of Eater LA. Together with her mother, Executive Chef Julie Coser, she founded Bites & Bashes, a catering company and cafe, serving the Los Angeles area.
Crystal graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Economics and a double minor in French and the History of Art and Architecture. At Harvard, she was a manager of the University’s restaurant and pub, the chair of the College Events Board, and restaurant critic for the school’s magazine. Crystal also studied food science with chefs José Andrés and Ferran Adrià, and worked at the restaurant consulting firm Avero in New York.
She loves tequila, Tupac, and macaroons.
